As it turns out, I did end up leaving the house today! Though at first I was not completely sure how fond I was of the idea to leave my comfortable bed and actually have social interaction, I convinced myself that it would be a good idea...and thank heavens that I did.
While out, I stopped by a second hand furniture store and found a few things that have the potential to be a fun little afternoon project for tomorrow.
They are two candelabras, a hanging wall piece and piece of what looks like a decorative bit that used to be on the top of a frame.
This wall piece may be my favourite of the things that I got, and once I paint it I will be quick to hang it up somewhere in my room and put something on it.
This is one of the candelabra's that I got. They came in a pair for 15 dollars, which I didn't think was too bad. I love the way that these look, with the flowery details and interesting shapes. At first when I saw these I thought I would use them to actually hold candles...but I then decided that they could also work very well as a jewelry holder!
This is the bottom of one of the candelabras. I think even the bottom of these are gorgeous.
But, yes! That is all I have to show you for now, but I will be posting pictures of these items during the process of making them fit my room theme soon. (Aka, tomorrow)
